Description:We, Jacob Engel (piano) and Marijke Groenendaal (soprano), are an Art Song duo formed in 2006. Together we have developed an extensive Art Song repertoire including songs by Barber, Brahms, Britten, Chausson, Debussy, Fauré, Mahler, Poulenc, Schubert, Schumann and Wolf. We have received coaching from singers Margreet Honig, Olaf Bär, Sasja Hunnego and Eugene Asti, and pianists Rudolf Jansen, David Willison, Kelvin Grout, Robin Bowman and Terence Allbright.
