Description:The building which houses the Pruitt Library Branch was originally a fire hall. It opened as a library in 1993, occupying an area of 2,315 square feet. It is named for the state legislator Charles W. Pruitt and his wife, Mary, who also served from the 58th district. The library was expanded to include Pruitt Homework Center in December, 1996.
