Started as support-shop for SOS - now Fair Trade Original - in 1983 by Jan H.C.Velterop, an experienced social scientist in Fair Trade, establishing World Shops, international cooperation.
On August 1-st 1984 started as fully independent business, with shopping from home.
Moved into Ambachten Centrum in November 1987, getting the first public shop.
