My mother, Gwen Abrams Wasden, founded the business in 1970 named Capitol Tax Service and later sold that business in 1987. She started Accounting Services shortly afterward. She wanted to create a tax business that prides them self on personal relationships, taking our time during your appointment to have all questions answered. Our goal is to not rush you through like cattle, but to get to know you and create a working bond for years to come. We are now servicing 3rd generation clients.

I, Traci Freeman Stricklin, took over the business in 2012 when Gwen experienced some medical problems. I changed the name to Gotfrogs Accounting Services because Ms. Gwen is a frog collector. Her handle has always been Gotfrogs, so to honor her time in the business I changed the name. Our company colors are royal purple and lime green. Royal purple is Ms. Gwen's favorite color and lime green is my favorite color. I am growing the business in the same manner Ms. Gwen started it, a personal working relationship. We are maintained by word of mouth advertising.
