Description:The LVA was founded in 1980 with the aim of supporting the then recently created research line in vibration and acoustics of the Graduate Program in Mechanical Engineering (POSMEC) at UFSC. The new research line was an answer to the increasing number of problems involving noise and vibration faced by the Brazilian industry.
